Building Inter-Agency Project on the island 132 (Neuquén) – Workshop Architecture Study (Agustina Arqs. Solera, Nuria Peirone, Luciana Movellan, Paula Raimondo)
The project won the First Prize in the Provincial Inter Blueprint for Building 132 on the island of the city of Neuquén.
It was developed by Studio Architecture Workshop Agustina made up of architects Solera, Nuria Peirone, Luciana Paula Movellan and Raimondo.

Considerations
The building project for the Agency on the island 132 of the city of Neuquén aims to represent and build the public in a contemporary way and make a commitment to progress and growth of the city, proposing a project that is tailored to the needs the place and its immediate surroundings.

Urban Implantation
The idea of a functioning central public square as the heart and core of the proposal and in turn is the portal of entry into the circuit and the master plan proposed by was the starting point for the development of this work.
We worked with the premise of a strong integration between building, public sector, green spaces and recreational facilities.
The imprint of convening a public square, venue and accommodation strategically located distribution to generate a voltage and visual connections between the east-west of the city generates a space of transition space for linking the different areas.
The volume placed longitudinally, responds to the implementation of the land and the scale of it is meant to have direct connection and harmony with their immediate environment. That is why we developed in PB and four levels.
The building includes the landscape and talks with him. Raised landscaped deck area to help the environmental issues that are considered critical.
Umbrellas are raised and vertical planes to help the basking. It protects and closes the south-west facade due to strong winds coming from that direction as well as working with different levels to cope with the climatic factor.
On the other hand, raised cross ventilation, areas where the sun is used for heating the building to natural light, following a line of fundamental sustainability taken into account from the beginning.
Functional aspects
At ground floor there is access to the building from the Plaza “El Portal” at the main hall and exhibition hall, multifunctional space, sector damp vertical movement.
On the east, you enter the commercial sector from the street, through an expansion ending in a dry place, which is contained and protected from winds by the same construction.
They are located on the northern front and west parking lots and discovered semicubiertos in support of the activities performed in the building.
Revenues are three that come to a Dry Place to access the first floor, which houses the offices.
Two ramps, one on west side and the other is located in the south as a pedestrian landscaped terraces, which integrates and connects to the green belt of the Coast, and a grand staircase. All were accessed from the street.
The following are 3 floors for offices, free plants, with flexibility in their organization, in order to meet the needs posed by multiple entities that make use of them.
In the last level will be located engine rooms and technical spaces to respond to the proper functioning of the building as a whole.
As a second instance, it leaves expected from the “Plaza El Portal” access to the future audience that arises just below the ramp walkways, designed on two floors.
The fact that there are two entrances on different floors of the building is due to the intention of raising independent work areas and uses, with the possibility of using the commercial, cultural and multi-function space are located in PB (public use) in days or hours in the administrative part (private use) has no activity.
Technical Specifications
The reinforced concrete structure of the building will require a thorough analysis, lighting calculation, sections, structural alternatives, etc, but you can highlight and take into account some basic concepts of the draft.
According to project requirements should take a maximum thickness of the structural package of 90 cm (beam height).
Based on the lights is recommended the adoption of coffered slabs (with coffered lost or recoverable). In this sense we must make an analysis and design in the modulation and dimensions of the caisson, nerves and compression layer.
It will take a constant overhead per unit area on each floor of 500 kg/m2 to provide the building with a flexible and adaptable spaces for future growth, allowing them compatible with the existing structure to ensure the longevity of the investment initial.
Linear load will be taken around the perimeter as well considering the weight of timber and closures planned.
The calculated perimeter retaining walls to withstand the effects of uplift (thrusts) to avoid impact on product structure of these charges, so that only a waterproofing subtract properly and avoid leaks.
